The concentration of the Carboxyhemoglobin is also tested as it would state the quantity of carbon monoxide attached to the hemoglobin of the blood. Not all veterinary clinics have the facilities to carry out the test as a result of which the blood samples of the cat are generally taken to normal human hospitals for examination.
