Pet Fish Varieties

Some of the most interesting fish varieties are cardinal fish, the red spotted cardinality only grows to Scam(2in) long, it is a (Sharma nematode, formerly slow, peaceful swimmer, exceedingly Pogo orbicular is), could easily be hardy and ideal for a beginner, except mistaken for a freshwater variety - its that it will not eat flake foods.

The rabbit fish (Lo vulpine) Lisa nicely marked, rather innocuous fish, not very common, but ideal inane invertebrate community system. The freshwater will be familiar with quite a few so-called brackish fish, i.e. fish that normally inhabit river estuaries and can adapt to both fresh water and saltwater, but are probably happiest in conditions that lie somewhere in between. The Malayan angel (Mendacity argentous), for example, is an incredibly hardy species, often used as a starter fish. It is usually bought at about 2.5-Scm (1-tin) long and slowly grows to I3-15cm (5-6in). Its brilliant silver markings make a fine display as an adult in salt water, although pale against the brighter of true marine fish ther brackish water fish include the rare, more difficult Mendacity, which will not tolerate completely freshwater, the scat (Sarcophagus) and the target fish (Thereupon Aruba).

In fish varieties Goat fish are peaceful scavengers that spend their days rummaging through the sand. They do not grow very large, seem quite oblivious toothier tank inhabitants and make an interesting addition to most systems.

Seahorses have great appeal but, sadly, few survive in captivity. So, if you wish to keep seahorses, provide a tank with no dangers, virtually no competition as far as feeding is concerned and remember they need live foods every day. If you are tempted to keep seahorse (Hippocampus sp.) be prepared for disappointment.

Different Varieties of Fish

Anchovy
These are very important to the food chain of fishes.

• Blue Anchovy – This is an Indo-Pacific fish, it grow up to the size of just 3 inches. These anchovy are found in Indian Ocean, Pacific Ocean etc.


• California Anchovy – This fish is found on Canadian border to the baja California, its size is 9-3/4 inches. It is mostly used for fishmeal and it can be canned sometime depends on the occasion.


• European Anchovy – This anchovy can be seen on the west coast of South Africa up to Norway. They can grow up to 9 inches.

Bass

• Sand Bass – Different varieties of Sand Bass is found in Southern California i.e. Spotted, Goldspotted, Barred. Goldspotted Bass grow up to 28 inches and this is the only species that is found commercially.


• Striped Bass – Striped Bass can grow up to 78 inches and is found in river estuaries on the Gulf Coast of the U.S. up to Western Atlantic coast into Canada.


• White Perch – This species is found in North Atlantic coast, they are found in salt water and fresh water. This Bass can grow up to 19 inches.

Butterfish
There name is different but they are real butterfishes

• Silver Pomfret – It is a Tropical Indo-West Pacific fish which is found in Red Sea to the South Pacific islands. It can grow up to the 24 inches.


• Chinese Silver Pomfret – It is also a tropical Indo –west Pacific fish found from Persian Gulf to Southern Japan. It can grow up to the 15 inches.
